I love the temper trap and was so excited about their second album but… I don’t really like it. They took a whole new 80s/synth style that I’m not crazy about. Here’s a link to stream the album though—

Not much of a dog person, but I liked Scout the few times we met. He has his own personality. I always remember that one time when we were driving away and he was being all mischievous and trying to follow us.
Idk how you can dislike dogs. No other animals are more unconditionally loving or loyal then dogs. But Scout is very friendly and he loves people, usually when cars leave our driveway he either follows you, tries to stop you or attempts to climb into your car. He also peed on Ben’s car right when he walked out of it which I thought was really funny.

My doggie scout has been acting very luggish lately and he has a big lump on his side that looks like a possible tumor. I don’t think I’ll ever want a pet lab again, Buck our old yellow lab had cancer problems too. Labradors just have too many health issues although they are so sweet. But they said Scout’s old (he’s eleven.. Isn’t it sad that only eleven years is considered old for a dog?) and there’s not much they can do so to just let him be. But I love him and I always lose pets with having any good pictures to remember them with— so here he is, adorable as usual, Scout Herrera.
I bought my mother’s day card today. I seem to always gravitate towards the “kids” card section, I got a 101 Dalmatians card (my favorite when I was little) that says “You’re a Grr-R-Reat Mommy” with a puppy on front. Idk why I have such childish tastes but looking at those kinds of things just make me feel happier. The two words people use to describe me with most are “mature” and “childish” which seem contradictory but I understand what they mean and I don’t mind sharing both of those traits. I also bought a Thomas Kinkade card for my grandma (she loves him).
I’m sorta dreading work tomorrow morning. Its always so much harder to return when you’ve been gone for a while. However I am still so happy because I got an A in astronomy:D (a class I was convinced a month ago that I’d fail). Finding out about that grade and seeing Val, Kathia and Miranda yesterday have been the highlights of my week.
I thought this video was really interesting actually, inferring that Hello Kitty’s ‘minimalism’ may be a major reason of her success. I knew about the no mouth=her emotions reflect your own concept but I never related that to minimalism or the idea of ‘superflat’ japanese art culture. Reminds me of high school.
Today I decided to un-quit the violin.
